When I first found Omni Pod, I was very excited to have a pump without tubing. If only I could go back.

Over the last two days I've had consistently high blood sugars without logical reason. Sometime it looks as though the cannula is in, when in fact it's not. Lately there have been more and more similar issues.

As soon as my insurance will approve replacement, I'll go back to Medtronic, the pump I used before the omni pod. In my case it's not lack of knowledge, as I've had Type 1 for over 50 years and always well controlled.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Location: King, North Carolina

I find every 3-4 pods end up leaking. and or dislodge and or get blocked.

soo inconsistent..its my first pod and I am in Canada...the government only funds 1 pump every 5 years so now im working with my nurse practioner to figure what to do now..

. my private insurance requires a lot of evidence of my attempts to make it work (12 months worth) before I can apply for one through them..goal of the summer= not die...good goal..cant wait for aug 18th!!!
